£32.303
PENSION:
10% salary non-contributory and death in service benefit

AWS Charity Jobs are delighted to be working in partnership with The Leprosy Mission Scotland (TLMS). The main purpose of this unique opportunity is to manage the organisation’s data, analysing trends for fundraising, reporting to the CEO and Board of Trustees. The successful candidate will liaise with the Head of Engagement to increase retention rates through donor journeys and nurture new supporters into the Mission. They will also oversee TLMS’ financial accounts and line manage the Finance Officer.

- Manage the organisations data, analysing trends for fundraising and reporting to the CEO and Board.
- Responsibility for all TLMS supporter and volunteer data – including coding, testing, producing reports, monitoring donations, tracking relationships with supporters, segmentation of data for DM / New Media appeals and general recording of information.
- To produce high quality, accurate reporting on a regular basis for the CEO; the Board; other members of the TLMS team and the Global Fellowship as required.
- Responsibility for the daily maintenance of the organisation’s database (Donorfy) to ensure the integrity of all data. Checking for data accuracy and altering records accordingly.
- Responsible for keeping church information up to date (e.g., acquiring and entering church contact lists).
- Database validation and cleansing on a regular basis.
- Validation of data entry by creating complex queries to facilitate changes where required.
- Maintaining Tables and Configurations.
- Data development and integration with other database systems (e.g., website).
- Preparing data for Direct Mail (DM) as well as Church, organisation and campaign updates etc.
- Identify and segment different giving patterns, trends, affinity to projects and other behaviours to pro-actively recommend the testing and implementation of different fundraising and marketing campaigns.
- Assisting colleagues by producing regular data reports and by integrating additional data-sets and providing analysis and support.
- Pro-active recommendations to improve the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) with supporters and volunteers, helping colleagues to understand and communicate with various supporter/volunteer segments based on sound data analysis.
- Co-ordinate Donorfy security profiles and access on an ongoing basis, supporting other users.
- Co-ordinate and further develop procedures manual.
- Train users and answer user queries – be the ‘champion’ for organisation-wide use of CRM tool, Donorfy.
- Assist with operator tasks of the Supporter Care Team when required.
- To specifically ensure that all aspects of the donor journey are fulfilled.
- Line management of the Finance Officer who has responsibility for preparation of budgets and financial reporting.
- To ensure processes, procedures and activity are regulatory sound and provides a positive supporter experience.
- Provide regular updates and contribute to meetings accordingly.
- Proactively monitor Data Protection guidelines and how this impacts processes, input, management and use of data.
- Ensure that TLMS Fundraising is compliant with current Data Protection legislation, Fundraising Code of Practice and Fundraising Regulation.
- Participation in activities of TLMS and the Global Fellowship.
- To practice and uphold the values of TLMS and the Global Fellowship.
- Participate in regular TLMS team meetings; Global fellowship meetings; TLMS and Global Fellowship gathering. This will include times of prayer and worship.
Essential Experience
- Ability to apply technical and professional experience to developing and refining work practices, communicating appropriate solutions and implementing agreed changes.

- Ability to capture, analyse and interpret data.
- Good knowledge of developing methodologies to evaluate, learn, report and monitor processes.
- Strong technical, numerical and business problem-solving skills.
- Highly flexible to meet changes within the business.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work proactively on own initiative, with the ability to make appropriate decisions without referral.
- Proven ability to prioritise and co-ordinate across multiple tasks, with drive and flexibility to undertake a wide range of projects/activities simultaneously.
- A practicing Christian able to subscribe to The Leprosy Mission Scotland Ethos Statement.
Desirable Experience
- Understanding of fundraising best practice.
- Advanced Microsoft Office.
- Excellent understanding of software development cycle.
- Good communications skills with the ability to train end users on the CRM Database and office procedures.
- Self-motivated with the capacity to work as part of a team, cross team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, write reports and present findings.
- Advanced level Microsoft Excel, and Quick books Intermediate level Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point).
