As Head of Funding, you will be responsible for the creation and implementation of EL’s Funding Strategy to help us improve people’s health, wellbeing, and quality of life. External funding enables us to deliver our charitable purpose and make a bigger impact, and it currently sits at around £1m per annum. You will advise, guide, and represent Edinburgh Leisure on all aspects of funding.
You will maintain current and develop new funding partnerships that support the organisation’s activities and ambitions.
You will lead and support, as appropriate, the sourcing and maintenance of external funding from a variety of sources including statutory bodies, grant-giving trusts, national agencies, corporate donors, individuals, online giving and employee fundraising.
